Capilla del Monte... where you only speak spanish...

Capilla or as they promounce it here Capisha is a small village in cordoba province and quite famous among the Argentinians. The ride was about three hours from the capital of the province and once you arrive you feel the atmosphere of tranquility.

I mean, why else would the taxi driver prefers to give you instuctions of how to walk at your hostel  rather than discontinue gossiping with the kiosk owner.

Nothing happens in Cordoba

Arrived in Cordoba early in the morning.. Even though I slept well in the bus I was still dead-tired for the whole day. The first day seemed like a hangover as the sleep I got from the bus was not enough

My days in the capital of the province were ordinary. In general I find that for me cities are less of an interesting place to spend time in comparison with smaller villages. Especially if you dont feel like going out at night which in my opinion is the only thing a big city has to offer over small places.

This capital felt safer than Tucuman's, well arranged with most of the city concentrated in the center and a large high-street to walk.

To the independance City (San Miguel,Tucumán)

--> Re-written.

I continued my journey from Salta to San Miguel the Capital of Tucumán Province. I´m still not sure why I picked it in first place but I think I did to split the Journey between Salta and Cordoba since that would've been around 13 hours journey in the bus.

The wine village of Cafayate

I woke up early at Salta.The bus would pick me up between 7-7:45 AM. As I was told there is some interesting things to see on the way, I booked a touristic bus, but I only paid one way as I wanted to to see few more villages around the area.
Shortly after we left, the señora-guide chatted me up as of why I wanted to stay in that small village, and it only took me 2 minutes to realize there was no Bus connections (or any other) between the villages I wanted to see! haha... Never the less, I had the hostel booked so I decided to spend the night there anyway and decide what to do the day after.

The Salta City Experience

First few days were a bit peculiar. Still felt a bit uncomfy and while the jet lag of flying to the west is suppose to be mild, I needed few naps per dayto keep me going.

On the first day I walked the city quite alot, and loved it as it is very quite and tranquil. Main exhibition in the city is the Museum related to Incas culture and especially children sacrifice. The center piece is a child mummy which is swapped once every 6 months (they have 3 in overall)

Flying from Madrid, Day 0

So, I spend three days in Madrid, where I explored as much as I could (I must admit I liked it the most, out of the big cities I have ever been) and made few friends, an Aussie and a couple of  Koreans, the big day arrived that I had to fly to Argentina.
